A woman surrendered without incident after barricading herself inside her home Thursday night in Little Haiti.
Over a dozen officers in tactical gear set up a perimeter in a neighborhood near NW 6th Avenue and 51st Street.
According to Miami police, the woman got into an argument with her husband and armed herself with a gun.
The husband was able to safely leave the home with their child.
The woman was taken into custody and will be receiving a psychiatric assessment, police said.
