A Coral Springs toddler died Wednesday night after he was found floating face-down in his family's backyard pool.
Two-year-old Nabell Hamed was found shortly before 6 p.m. in the family's pool at the home on the 10300 block of Northwest 53 Court.
The boy had wandered off from his mother and three siblings for only a few minutes, according to Coral Springs Police.
When his two sisters, aged 10 and 6 went looking for him, they found him in the pool.
The boy was transported to Coral Springs Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The pool did not have a fence around it, according to police.
