Florida Truck Driver Charged in Crash that Killed 2 On I-85

A Florida man accused of hitting six motorcyclists with his tractor trailer rig near Greensboro has been charged with a second death.

Multiple media outlets reported that the Guilford County District Attorney's Office issued the charge of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle Tuesday against 31-year-old Daniel Santiago Serna of Hollywood, Florida.

The charge comes after Kenneth N. Jefferson died at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem on Sunday.

Six motorcyclists were hit after they had pulled over early Friday on Interstate 85 to fix a mechanical problem in one of their bikes.

Thirty-seven-year-old Arnie M. Morris died earlier.

The bikers were traveling from the Washington D.C., area to a motorcycle rally in Atlanta, Georgia.
