Frightening dash cam footage shows a vehicle slamming into the back of a Florida Highway Patrol trooper's car and catching fire before the driver was pulled to safety by the trooper.
The incident happened back in November on Interstate 75 in Lee County, FHP officials said Wednesday.
The footage shows the trooper pulling over into the shoulder of the highway before the out of control car slams into the back. The car catches fire and the trooper quickly works to pull the driver to safety.
"1st responders perform a critical service on the side of the road, plz move over so they can safely do their job! It’s the law, it’s common courtesy & most importantly, it’s a life saver!" the FHP tweeted.
