Miami Fire Rescue crews responded to a major gas leak in Little Havana Tuesday morning.
Officials said the leak occurred at Southwest 17th Avenue and Fourth Street.
Hazmat teams were on the scene and evacuated the surrounding area until the leak was addressed by the gas company.
Crews were able to clamp the gas leak about two hours later, and streets were opened back up.
