In 1996, former Miss Universe, Alicia Machado, nearly lost her title when she gained over 40 pounds after winning her crown.
The Venezuelan-born Machado claims that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who at the time co-owned the Miss Universe Organization, began calling her "Miss Piggy" and "Miss Housekeeping," to mock both her weight and her accent.
But it seems that "Miss Piggy" might be getting the last laugh. She recently became an American citizen and plans to exercise a right that comes with citizenship – the right to vote.
To celebrate, she posted a picture of herself on Instagram saying: "All my power and my support become with my next President @hillaryclinton," she said. "Miss Housekeeping and Miss Piggy can vote @realdonaldtrump."
