A part-time Broward Sheriff's Office court bailiff was arrested on child pornography charges in Sarasota, authorities said.
Brian Alan Preston, 24, is facing two counts of possession of child pornography following his May 1 arrest.
Preston was being held on $150,000 bond, jail records showed. It was unknown if he has an attorney.
According to an arrest report, Preston admitted to viewing numerous images and videos of child pornography on the Internet between 2003 and 2008.
Preston also set up a web camera and secretly recorded a child, the report said. When officers searched his iPad, they found two videos showing nude children, the report said.
BSO officials said Preston has worked for them for 10 months in the civilian position.
