A pilot made an “amazing” emergency landing on a roadway in Ft. Lauderdale after losing power mid-air.
According to rescue crews, the plane was flying from Georgia with two people on board Sunday. That’s when the plane experienced engine failure while approaching Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport Sunday morning.
The pilot was forced to make an emergency landing on Northwest 62nd Street and Northwest 31st Way.
Rescue crews said the pilot “did an amazing job” landing the aircraft safely.
Thankfully, no one on the ground or in the plane was injured.
