Officers surrounded a home in North Miami Beach after shots were fired nearby Thursday morning, officials said.
The incident happened at a home in the area of Northeast 15th Avenue and 154th Street. Officials said there was a heavy police presence and the area was shut down following an altercation next to the home.
Police later cleared the house, and said no injuries were reported.
