SWAT was called to the scene after a man barricaded himself in his Hialeah apartment, officials said.
The incident started as a domestic dispute at 606 West 81st Street, said Hialeah Police spokesman Carl Zogby.
Police said no one was hurt, but the man is acting irrationally.
