A Miramar man bit off a chunk of his girlfriend’s vagina during an argument over his infidelity, and then beat her repeatedly as he held her captive for about a week, police said.
Nelson Guerrero, 30, and his girlfriend were staying at a Hialeah motel on April 24 when they began to argue – and soon thereafter he attacked her, Miramar Police said in an arrest report.
The victim, in tremendous pain, asked Guerrero to take her to the hospital, but he refused because he feared he would be arrested, police said.
Guerrero took his girlfriend – who he has been dating for over four years, and has known for over 18 – to his Miramar home, where he held her against her will for about a week, the report said.
Every time she tried to escape or asked to leave, Guerrero beat her, according to the report.
“During the course of a week, the defendant slapped her, punched her, pulled her hair, burned her arm and face with a cigarette, kicked her, stabbed her in her hand, threatened to kill her and pointed an AK-47 assault rifle at her head,” the report said.
Photos taken of the victim’s injuries were consistent with her allegations, the report said.
Guerrero refused to speak with detectives about the incident, according to police.
Guerrero was arrested last Saturday and faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery causing bodily harm or disability, and kidnapping with intent to inflict bodily harm upon or to terrorize the victim, police said.
It wasn’t immediately known whether Guerrero has an attorney. He is being held on no bond at the Joseph V. Conte Facility, online Broward Sheriff’s Office jail records said.
