Teen Admits to Breaking Into 20 Cars in 1 Night: Cops

Cars were unlocked, suspect said

It was a very busy night for Bradley Mammarelli, authorities said.

The 19-year-old was arrested Thursday and charged with multiple counts of theft after he allegedly broke into more than 20 cars in one night in Pompano Beach, an arrest report stated.

Mammarelli, who also goes by the name of "Hot Boy," told Broward Sheriff's Office detectives he didn't need any tools to break into cars the cars July 31. He just pulled on the handles and the cars were unlocked, the report stated.

Mammarelli also told deputies he had taken Xanax when he pulled the capers and didn't really remember what cars he robbed or where they were parked, the report stated.

Deputies said the alleged car thief helped him self to anything that wasn't bolted down in the car. Mammerelli stole digital cameras, iPods, cell phones and loose change, the report stated.

A judge ordered Mammarelli held in jail on $23,000 bond. It is unclear if he has an attorney.
