The Miami Beach Police Department Creates Safe Haven for Buying and Selling Online Items

As online buying and selling becomes more prevalent, The Miami Beach Police Department is doing their part in ensuring that their residents make safe exchanges.

The Miami Beach Police Department has announced their new "safe haven" for residents and visitors who are buying and selling items online and need a safe place to complete transactions.

The initiative came after MBPD noticed a growing number of people utilizing various online sites, such as Craigslist, to buy and sell items.

MBPD is encouraging residents and visitors to use their lobby, or “safe haven,” which is open 24/7/365.

Buyers and sellers can set their meeting points at 1100 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach.
