A senior at Doral Academy High School who was reported missing has been found safe, authorities said.
Miami-Dade Police say Christopher Barreto had been last seen on the campus, located at 11100 Northwest 27th Street around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say the teen has no history of mental illness or physical disabilities. The family tells police they haven't heard from him and that his cellphone is off.
Police said he had been found Thursday at a gas station in Hialeah Gardens. He was being reunited with his framily, police said.
