A missing teen from Ponte Vedra Beach who may have been kidnapped was found safe after an Amber Alert was issued Tuesday, authorities said.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said 16-year-old Marcus Hatch was found safe in Jacksonville.
Authorities said Hatch was taken during a home invasion robbery early Tuesday. The victims said two black males armed with handguns forcibly entered their home and stole property.
During the incident, a third black male arrived and held the teen at gunpoint. Hatch didn't live in the home but was an acquaintance of the couple, officials said.
Three of the victims were bound but the suspects took Hatch and fled in the family's 2009 grey Subaru Legacy with an Air Force tag of AKN6Z.
