Foster Parents Needed for Kittens!

It’s kitten season and Broward County Animal Care is in immediate need of foster parents to temporarily care for young kittens until they are old enough to be placed into adoption.

Some of the kittens are able to eat on their own and just need a week or two of care until they reach 2 months of age and 2 lbs. Other kittens are still very young and will need to be bottle fed.

Fostering is often a 24/7 responsibility and pets must be returned to Animal Care for checkups as often as every two weeks. Foster parents must be able to commit the time and care for the health and survival of the foster pet(s).

To become a foster parent, please contact Broward County Animal Care at foster@broward.org
