Gas Price Rise Continues Across South Florida This Week

With schools back in session Monday and the work week beginning, plenty of people are going to be filling up their gas tanks – and spending a few extra cents to do so.

Gas prices across South Florida have risen nearly seven cents from this points last week, averaging $2.69 a gallon. That number is higher than the national average of $2.65 per gallon, which is up four cents from last week.

In Miami-Dade County, the cheapest gas is for $2.45 a gallon at the Chevron station located near SW 112th Avenue and 216th Street. In Broward County, the Marathon station at Sheridan Street and US 441 has the cheapest gas at $2.53 a gallon.
