Lanes along I-95 will be closed in South Florida this week to install new, more durable plastic poles to better divide the express lanes.
On Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday- all southbound I-95 Express Lanes and one adjacent non-tolled general use lane will be closed from the Golden Glades Interchange to SR 836 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
On Monday and Thursday, all northbound I-95 Express Lanes and one adjacent non-tolled general use lane will be closed from SR 836 to the Golden Glades Interchange between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
The space between each pole will also be reduced from its current placement of ten feet to five.
