Man Accused of Burglarizing Hialeah Hospital Offices

A man who was caught on camera allegedly burglarizing offices in a Hialeah Hospital building has been arrested, police said.

Jorge Issac Beneditt, 35, was arrested Tuesday on burglary and grand theft charges in the incident that happened at the building at 775 E. 25th Street, according to an arrest report.

Police say Beneditt robbed two offices in the building and both times he was caught on camera. Beneditt allegedly stole a printer, a heart rate monitor, a bottle of anesthetic and $2 in quarters. The value of the those items was estimated at more than $1,000.

On the arrest report Beneditt is listed as homeless and it says he used to live in Maine. In court Wednesday he was ordered held on $10,000 bond, and was appointed a public defender.
