Pinecrest Police are looking for a man who was caught on surveillance video trying to break into an occupied home.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. last Wednesday at the home in the 9900 block of Southwest 69th Court, Pinecrest Police said.
Police said the homeowner reviewed her surveillance video later in the morning and realized the man had tried to open her front door.
The homeowner, who didn't want to be identified, said she's been losing sleep since the incident.
"For me it was very scary," the homeowner told NBC 6 Thursday. "You have to lock your doors, put your alarms on, put cameras and be aware that something can happen."
Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Pinecrest Police at 305-234-2100.
