Man Hospitalized After Shooting, Crash Outside Lauderhill Convenience Store

Police rushed a man to the hospital after a shooting inside a Lauderhill convenience store.

Lauderhill Police say that around 4 p.m., a man entered the store located at 5440 NW 19th Street and had an altercation with the clerk. The argument moved outside, where the customer got into his vehicle as both men took out guns and opened fire.

After driving away, the customer crashed his vehicle nearby. When officers arrived, they noticed he had been shot and took him to Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale, where his condition is unknown at this time.

The clerk was not injured. Police are still investigating and have not said if anyone will be charged.
