Homicide detectives are investigating the murder of a man who was shot in his Dania Beach home Tuesday afternoon.
30-year-old Antaeous Bosfield was pronounced dead at a local hospital about 40 minutes after being shot.
Just before 5 p.m., BSO deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a home in the 4000 block of Southwest 51st Street in Dania Beach.
BSO said Bosfield was in his home when he was shot by an assailant. No one else was injured in the shooting. The shooter fled the scene.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue treated Bosfield at the scene and transported him to Memorial Regional Hospital where he died a short time later.
Homicide detectives are conducting interviews and reviewing forensic evidence found at the scene.
