A man was in custody after police said they found a large amount of marijuana and some firearms in a house in Miami Friday night.
The discovery was made just after 5 p.m. at the home near Southwest 57th Avenue, officials said. Officers were waiting on a search warrant late Friday.
Officials said two children were in the home when the discovery was made, including an 11-year-old with cerebral palsy who was found sitting next to stacks of marijuana.
The Department of Children and families was notified, police said.
Neighbors said there was a scuffle between officers and the suspect, who hasn't been identified.
Police said he'll face multiple charges.
