Miami Heat's Golden Oldies Bring Senior Swagger

The Golden Oldies are giving the Miami Heat a little bit of luck this season.

The Golden Oldies, the Miami Heat's senior hip hop ensemble, are just as passionate about their booty shaking as they are about their playoff basketball.

The senior citizen dance group has been performing for the Miami Heat for 10 years, but their dance routines for the 2013 to 2014 season have been a little special.

Why? Every time the Oldies have shimmied onto the American Airlines Arena floor, the home team has won the game for a perfect 8-0.

"I think we bring them good luck," says Keith Buehner, a dancer with the 16-person company. "Hopefully they'll hear about that and say, 'Let's dance at every game!"

There's certainly magic in their routines, and in preparation for Miami's White Hot Championship playoff run, NBC 6 Sports Anchor Courtney Fallon decided to pop into one of their practices and learn their moves.

Despite their age, which ranges from 60 to 77, the Golden Oldies have managed to master the latest gyrating dance moves, and do so with a youthful vitality.

Just like the reigning World Champions, the Golden Oldies are in playoff form, ready to put their perfect 8-and-0 record to the test this postseason.
