Police are investigating after a person was shot while riding in a car in northwest Miami-Dade Wednesday.
Miami-Dade Police said the shooting victim was a passenger in a car that crashed into a fence in the area of Northwest 191st Street and 51st Avenue after someone shot at the car from another vehicle.
The driver of the car that was shot up fled the scene on foot, while the passenger was being treated for a gunshot wound. The other vehicle fled the scene.
Police set up a perimeter to search for the suspects or the driver of the car that was shot. No other information was immediately known.
