Miami-Dade Police are asking for the public's help as they continue to search for a suspect in the brutal beating death of a woman in Opa-locka two weeks ago.
Police said they found Sandra Santiesteban's body inside a gold Honda Accord on Northwest 135th Street near 27th Avenue on July 10th.
Authorities are classifying the death as a homicide, but said that so far, they have no leads.
"We are trying to gather as much information as possible," said Miami-Dade Police Det. Elena Hernandez.
Hernandez said police are speaking with the victim's friends and relatives.
The victim's brother said he has no idea why Santiesteban was in Opa-locka that day.
Meanwhile, Santiesteban's 17-year-old daughter is trying to get a visa to travel from Cuba to Miami for her mother's funeral.

"A visa was denied and we are in the process to try to get the visa again," said the victim's brother Carlos Hernandez. "At least for humanitarian reasons, they should allow her to travel to her mother's funeral. That is all she wants."
