Police are searching for a crook who made a smashing entrance at a local repair shop, and it was all caught on camera. Security video shows the smash-and-grab as it happened.
It's not the type of call OB Beltran, the owner of the electronics store in Pembroke Pines, wanted Monday morning.
On the other end of the phone was his security company notifying him of a break-in at his repair shop.
By the time he arrived, the thief was long gone and so was nearly $10,000 worth of electronics, including repaired items belonging to his customers.
The thief broke through the door in a matter of minutes. Everything was caught on camera. The suspect walked through the store knowing exactly what he wanted.
As repairmen replaced the destroyed glass, Beltran stayed busy calling his customers, and hoping the surveillance video leads to answers.
