What to Know
- Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow responded to a report that he would be speaking at the GOP convention next week.
Next week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, OH will feature a list of speakers that include Congressional members, actors, and even the leader of the UFC. It will not, however, feature a speech from one former NFL quarterback with a household name.
Tim Tebow took to social media to respond to reports that he would deliver a message at the convention, where business mogul Donald Trump is expected to become the party’s nominee for President:
Tebow has been in the national spotlight for his charity work dating back to his college playing days for the Florida Gators, including his work in the Philippines – where he was born while his parents were on a missionary trip.
The 2016 GOP Convention will begin Monday, with Trump speaking Thursday.
