Turtle Named Obama Getting Change

Tortoise says "Yes I Can" return to sea

A rescued sea turtle named Obama is ready for some change he can believe in and he'll get it tomorrow when he's released back into the ocean near Key West.

Little "Obama" was named after the commander-in-chief after he was found gravely ill on Jan. 19, the day before Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the US.

The turtle had a severe intestinal impaction which had caused a body cavity infection when he was found on Higgs Beach.

Key West resident Tom Favelli found the lucky loggerhead on the beach and named him for the Prez.

"Obama" spent five months recovering at the Turtle Hospital in Marathon, and he'll be released tomorrow morning.
