An accidental tweet about an armed intruder on the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables caused a brief scare Wednesday, in the second such incident in the past year.
"ARMED INTRUDER ON GABLES CAMPUS. Seek secure location if on campus. Avoid area if off campus," read the tweet from the @UMPolice account.

A follow-up tweet two minutes later gave the all clear.
UM officials said they were testing some equipment when the tweet was accidentally sent.
