The train blows its horn as it approaches the bus, then clips it on the back.

There were people on board the bus at the time, but they had enough time to get off before the train hit.

Another video showed the back of the bus on the tracks, badly damaged, with the engine exposed.

According to Opa-locka Police, a box truck had struck the bus from behind, causing the bus to be immobilized on the tracks.

That's when the train collided with the bus, causing significant damage, police said.

No one was injured, police said.

After the crash, the box truck fled the scene, police said, and investigators are working to find it and the driver.

So far, the spokesperson for the Department of Transportation and Public Works, Juan Mendieta, has only said: "We were very fortunate."

He deferred other questions to Opa-locka authorities or the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.
