"On Your Feet!"

"On Your Feet," telling the musical story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan from Cuba to Miami, kicks off its national tour Friday evening at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Miami Broward Carnival

Caribbean culture is set to flood South Florida this weekend. The Miami Broward Carnival takes place on Sunday at the Miami-Dade County Fairgrounds. The all-day “fete,” or party, features a vibrant parade, upbeat music, delicious Caribbean cuisine, and more. Click here for more details.

Marlon Wayans

Comedian Marlon Wayans, the star of NBC’s hit show “Marlon,” takes the stage for one night only on Saturday at Stage 305 inside the Magic City Casino. Barktoberfest: K9 Splash Adventure

Wrangle up your dogs and family and head to Quiet Waters Park for Barktoberfest. The dog- and family-friendly event features two days of kiddie bounce houses, face painting, and fun. For a small fee, your dog can enjoy 50-minutes of fun in the water at the park’s Splash Adventure water park. Pet adoptions will also be available throughout the event. More details here.

Burger King Beach Run

Benefiting South Florida students through scholarships of the Burger King Scholars program, the BK Beach Run takes off early Saturday morning through and along South Beach and finishes with a beach party on the sand.
