Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan vowed Thursday to defeat terrorism in his country, in an address to the World Economic Forum in his country's capital city of Abuja. "By God's grace we will conquer the terrorists," he told the audience. “I believe that the kidnap of these girls will be the beginning of the end of terror in Nigeria.” Jonathan also said he appreciated the international assistance in the search for the nearly 300 girls kidnapped by extremist Islamist group Boko Haram.
