Isolated Showers, High Rip Current Risk Continue Monday Across Much of South Florida

As the work week begins across South Florida, be prepared for the occasional shower across much of the area – and even more storms along the Florida Keys.

Storms will continue for much of the day spanning from the upper to lower Keys, with the chance of a storm getting higher as the day goes on. Miami-Dade and Broward counties are at risk for an isolated shower in the western parts of the area throughout the day with highs near 83 degrees.

Tonight, mild temperatures will greet much of the area with lows reaching the lower 70’s.

Even with winds being lighter today, the high risk of rip currents remains across the beaches in South Florida. Chances of an isolated storm continue through Thursday with a higher percentage of rain projected this weekend.
