Miami Beach police are looking for a missing 24-year-old man.

Police said Jorge David Reyes was last seen April 7th at a Miami Beach bar called Lost Weekend.

Reyes was drinking with friends early in the morning, but his family members have not seen him since, according to police.

His father Jorge Reyes described him as a very social person and a talented musician, saying it's uncharacteristic of him to fall off the grid.

"He has a group like everybody's around him and he's always in touch with everybody, with his family and friends," his father said. "Never anything like this."

His father said he is desperate for information. The younger Reyes' cell phone was found days later inside the bar where he was last seen.

"The last phone call he made was the 7th of April at 12 a.m. to his friend that was with him," the father said. "He never called again because he lost his cell phone."

Reyes was last seen wearing a green Oakley shirt, beige shorts and flip flops. He is 6'02" and weighs about 200 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police at 305-673-7945 or Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
