Friends and family members of missing Florida State University graduate Ryan Uhre gathered for a prayer vigil in Fort Lauderdale Sunday on the two-week anniversary of his disappearance.

The vigil was held on the south side of Fort Lauderdale Beach Sunday evening. Father Michael Uhre attended and made an emotional plea.

"We're gonna find Ryan, we're gonna bring him home," Michael Uhre said. "Ryan, your family needs you to come home."

Uhre was last seen Super Bowl Sunday at a bar in Tallahassee. Feb. 2 was also the last time Uhre, who is from Weston, spoke to his family or responded to any texts or phone calls. Uhre, who graduated from FSU in December, went to high school at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Broward.

Uhre was preparing to go to law school and was interning for Weston State Rep. Richard Stark.

The Tallahassee Police department is investigating the disappearance and said Wednesday that there is no information to suggest foul play was involved. Police said they are working around the clock to find Uhre.

Family members said they're hopeful Uhre will be found safe.

"There's a lot of people that care about Ryan and we're just trying to find someone that has some little clue," father Michael Uhre said. "Because after talking to police, at this point it comes down to a tip...my gut tells me I think he's alive. That's what we're really hoping."

Friends have set up a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/findryanuhre.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Uhre is asked to call police at 850-606-5800 or Crime Stoppers at 850-574-TIPS or 954-493-TIPS.
