A Virginia-based soldier who was from Florida has been killed in Afghanistan.
The Defense Department said Sgt. Justin R. Johnson was one of four soldiers killed Tuesday when enemy forces attacked their unit.
The Army said Johnson was at Bagram Air Base when he was struck with indirect fire. He was 25.
Johnson was originally from Hobe Sound, Florida. He joined in the Army in 2006 and had been assigned to the 7th Sustainment Brigade at Fort Eustis in Virginia since 2007.
