Suspect Arrested in Violent Southwest Miami-Dade Home Invasion

The man allegedly behind a violent home invasion, finds himself in court facing serious felony charges.

Kionne Bell, 21, is in custody and beind held with no bond for allegedly attacking two teenagers while they slept.

According to the arrest report, Bell broke into a home on 281st Terrace, just outside Homestead. He allegedly used a metal pipe to strike Alfredo Gallegos repeatedly in the head and face.

The victim called out to his younger brother who was also asleep in the home. Detectives said Bell then attacked the younger brother hitting him until he passed out.

Both victims were airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

According to detectives, Bell walked out with $2,000 in cash and jewelry. A witness saw him leaving covered in blood and now he's behind bars.

Bell faces charges of attempted felony murder and home invasion robbery.
