Kurt W. Cochran was killed by the attacker, who killed one other person with his car on Westminster Bridge and then stabbed a police officer to death outside of Parliament Wednesday afternoon. "Our family is heartbroken to learn of the death of our son-in-law, Kurt W. Cochran, who was a victim of Wednesday's terrorist attack in London," the statement said.

Fire crews were able to put out a morning blaze inside of one Northwest Miami-Dade home. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived at the scene off NW 101st Street and 24th Avenue around 10 a.m. with heavy fire coming out of the back of a home with two cars in the backyard suffering heavy damage. No one was inside the home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. Officials believe the fire started somewhere in the kitchen area of the home.
