Authorities say two boaters are safe after being pulled from the water south of Elliott Key near Miami.
The Miami Herald reports three men were in a 16-foot skiff fishing boat that started taking on water around 1 a.m. Monday. They all ended up in the water. One man swam to land and flagged down other boaters who called for help.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue sent a chopper crew, which found the missing men. They were taken to Homestead Bayfront Park Marina where they were checked out and released.
No further details were immediately available.
