3 Arrested, 30 Guns Recovered in Palm Bay Investigation

The arrests came after an investigation into a string of residential burglaries.

Palm Bay police have recovered thousands of dollars in stolen property — including almost 30 guns — following an investigation into a series of residential burglaries.

Police also arrested three suspects on Friday in connection with the burglaries. Twenty-five year-old Jason Bennet and 19-year-old Aaron Goodwin face charges of burglary and theft. Both are being held on $30,000 bond. Twenty-three year-old Frederick Clemons is being held without bond on drug-related charges.

A police statement says the three face additional charges as the investigation continues.

Police say the suspects forced their way into the homes when no was there and took everything from computers to prescription drugs and firearms. Homeowners contacted police about the robberies and to report a suspicious car in the area, which police say led to the arrests.
