Weather wise, the hot temperatures and high humidity greet South Florida to start the work week as it will feel like triple digits – with a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers to start the week.

No. 1 - Police say one person was killed after an overnight shooting inside of a Miramar apartment complex as officers continue their search for whoever pulled the trigger.

Crews responded to the scene inside the complex located off Pembroke Road just each of Douglas Road after calls came in of multiple shots being fired just after 12:30 a.m.

No. 2 - A man is in custody after shots were fired at two Pembroke Pines police officers, officials said.

According to police, the incident started in the parking lot of the Pembroke Lakes Mall outside the AMC movie theater over a parking spot. That's when the suspect fired shots at the victim's car, shattering the rear window. The suspect was identified as 81-year-old Solomon Stinson, who is a former member of the Miami-Dade School Board.

No. 3 - The Miami-Dade Police officer caught on video throwing a woman to the ground after she called 911 will be arraigned today.

Ofc. Alejandro Giraldo, who allegedly was trying to place Dyma Love under arrest during the incident, will be formally charged with one count of felony official misconduct and one count of misdemeanor battery. He is not expected to appear.

No. 4 - President Donald Trump arrived in Britain on Monday for a largely ceremonial visit meant to strengthen ties between the two nations.
