A 65-year-old Coral Springs man was killed in a crash, police said Tuesday.
Lawrence Shapiro was driving his 2006 Jeep Liberty in the 1300 block of Coral Ridge Drive Monday afternoon when he turned into the path of a truck, Coral Springs Police said.
Shapiro had made a left turn into the path of a Ford F-150 being driven by 42-year-old Eric Dabolish, police said. Dabolish wasn't injured.
Rescue workers took Shapiro to Broward Health North with critical injuries, and he was later pronounced dead, police said.
