ā€œSeductressā€ Scammer Drugging and Robbing SoFla Men

Heavyset woman or women targeting men, spiking their drinks

Men are falling for her, getting roped into having a drink, then waking up hours later to learn they've been drugged and robbed, but police don't exactly understand why.

A South Florida woman described as a "heavyset" Marlboro menthol smoker with a large tattoo on her shoulder has been running her dangerous drug 'em and rob 'em scheme over the past month throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties, netting over $50,000 in jewelry and cash from her victims.

Police in Palm Beach Shores, where one of the robberies took place think the woman may have an accomplice, and that she's no looker either.

"These women aren't models," Detective Paul Liccardo told the Sun-Sentinel. "They're not what society today would call a 10."

Nevertheless, the woman or women have pulled off at least four robberies in the past month, on as many as nine victims, using whatever charm they may have to lure men in with a spiked drink.

The first happened on March 22, when two men having a drink at the Oceans 234 bar in Deerfield Beach were followed back to their condo in Boca Raton by the main female suspect. She made her way into the condo and made the men one of her knockout cocktails, and when they woke up, their Rolex watches were gone.

Four days later, a man met a woman at Duffy's Sports Grill in West Palm Beach and left with her to a nearby park where they had a drink. The man blacked out and woke up to find his wallet missing.

In the third incident, on April 3, a man on a boat in Palm Beach Shores invited the woman on board for a drink. He woke up five hours later with his Rolex, his gold ring and the woman gone.

The fourth incident happened in Palm Beach on April 9, where a man and his friend were approached by two women seeking directions. The women joined one of the men for a drink and he woke up with his watch and wallet missing.

The woman is described as 30 to 35-years-old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 with a ponytail. Palm Beach Shores police released a sketch of her Wednesday.

The male victims are all in their 50s and 60s. Some unidentified victims may not be coming forward because of wives or girlfriends, Detective Liccardo said.
