The hearing to consider reducing bond for a man charged in a hit and run crash that killed a 13-year-old girl in Southwest Miami-Dade was delayed Thursday.
"I think the law requires me thus far to lower the bond by something, but by exactly what, I don't know," said Judge Ruiz-Cohen. "I need a clear picture of exactly what the situation is."
Sandor Guillen, 38, is seeking to have his $1 million bond reduced as he faces vehicular homicide, DUI manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident charges in the April 13 crash that killed Kaely Camacho.
The defense and prosecution disagreed over the Guillen family's assets. Representatives for the Camacho family, who said Guillen was a flight risk, also said they had records that his parents earned $52 million last year.
Guillen's father Sandor Guillen, who has the same name as his son, told the court that he lost his job four years ago.
"One million dollars is impossible," he said in reference to his son's bond.
Camacho's family attended Thursday's hearing to voice their opinion against reducing the bond amount.
"I just want justice to be done," the teenager's father Kirk Camacho said.
The judge assured the man the case would go to trial when Kirk Camacho voiced his concern.

"Providing he doesn't flee as he did that day," he said.
The hearing was rescheduled for Tuesday. If Guillen posts bond, he'll be under house arrest and not allowed to drive or drink alcoholic beverages, and he'll have to surrender his passport.
Camacho was riding in her family's minivan with her father and sister on Southwest 184th Street near South Dixie Highway when their car was struck by a Range Rover Sport being driven by Guillen in a Miami-Dade Transit bus way, police said.
According to a Miami-Dade Police arrest affidavit, Guillen's car was traveling 100 mph in a 40 mph zone when he struck the Camacho's minivan.
The crash was so severe it ripped the minivan in half, police said. Guillen's car struck a tree and spun five times before it came to a rest 373 feet away from the crash scene, the affidavit said.
Guillen fled the scene on foot but was quickly caught on Southwest 184th Street near 102nd Place, the affidavit said. His breath smelled of alcohol and officers took a blood sample to measure his blood alcohol content, the report said.
Camacho was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center where she later died. Father Kirk Camacho, 47, and sister Breann, 16, were also hospitalized and later released.
The Southwood Middle School eighth-grader was laid to rest Wednesday in Kendall, a funeral attended by 2,300 people.
