Even political candidates are trying to benefit from the era of the Three Kings.
Democratic senatorial candidate Kendrick Meek got a big assist Thursday from Miami heat star Dwyane Wade as MV3 took to twitter and the voting booth to endorse Meek.
But as with all good things, there was an unintended consequence.
As Meek spoke outside the Stephen P. Clark Government Center in Miami, Wade pulled up in a Range Rover, and then all of the campaign supporters and camera crews immediately turned into NBA fans and rushed to meet D-Wade.
In basketball terms, that's known as a steal.
We hope Meek wasn't in the middle of saying something important like why he is the best candidate and why he deserved their vote.
Good thing Wade was a willing passer to give the ball back to Meek.

"I believe in him," Wade said before casting his early vote for Meek. "This election is about the power of choosing. Hopefully he wins."
That might be a long shot. Meek appears to be losing ground in most of the polls, trailing both Republican Marco Rubio and Independent Charlie Crist.
But when it comes to NBA endorsements, Meek has been the landslide winner this campaign season. He's also got the support of Miami Heat great Alonzo Mourning
For Meek, the game isn't over until the final whistle blows.
