7-Eleven Slurpees taste just fine in the standard paper or plastic cup, but on Friday and Saturday, you can mix it up a bit and fill your own pitcher, cup or container with the cold, slushy beverage.
The promotion -- called “Bring Your Own Cup” -- invites customers to fill up their own cup, jar, punchbowl, etc. with the Slurpee of their choice for $1.50. #BYOCupDay is on Aug. 18 and 19 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The highly-anticipated #BYOCupDay isn’t new to 7-Eleven. The chain had a #BYOCupDay in May, which allowed customers to try limited-edition frozen flavors like Cinnamon-Pepsi and lemonade made with fruit juice. 7-Eleven invites participating customers to share their creations on social media under the hashtag.
Size doesn’t matter with the promotion, but certain stipulations apply. Cups must fit upright within a 10-inch hole, must be food-safe and clean and must be watertight,
It’s also important to choose your cup wisely, as only one cup per person is allowed.
The deal is available at participating locations with the exception of Cook County, Illinois.
