A man suspected in at least two South Florida bank robberies earlier this week has been arrested, FBI officials said Friday.

Eric Roberts, 30, was arrested Thursday afternoon in Opa-locka for his alleged involvement in the two robberies, officials said.

Officials said Roberts is believed to be behind Tuesday's robbery of the BB&T Bank branch at 2434 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, and Wednesday's robbery of the Citibank branch at 2750 Aventura Boulevard in Aventura.

Roberts, of Hollywood, was in federal custody Friday and is facing federal charges. Attorney information wasn't available.
