A homicide investigation was underway after a man was found dead in a rental car parking lot near Miami International Airport Tuesday.
The body was found around noon in the lot in the 3900 block of Northwest 26th Street, Miami-Dade Police said.
Police have identified the victim as 48-year-old Juan Alberto Miraldo. It's unknown how he died.
Richard Peodrowski said he was in business with Miraldo, owning a car rental business with two others. He said they used the lot where the body was found.
"We are tired and we are in shock, this is too much for us," Peodrowski said.
Peodrowski said Miraldo was married and the father of twins.
"[He doesn't] have trouble with anybody, so I don't know what happened," he said.
