Let's talk turkey – first things first: don't wash your bird. You can actually be spreading contamination around the kitchen. It might sound like common sense, but wash your hands before and after you handle any raw poultry.
If your turkey isn't thawed out, don't freak out: you can cook a frozen turkey as it just take longer. It does need to be completely thawed if you're frying your turkey - if it's frozen, it could cause a dangerous grease fire.
